WHY I DON'T TAKE INSURANCE? * ALL insurance companies have made it difficult for doctors to spend quality time with their patients. * Average doctors' visit with their patient is 5.7 MINUTES! I don't feel this is adequate time to take care of YOU. * Insurance companies DON'T tell me what to do OR how to take care of you OR how much time I can spend with you. * YOU are my boss. I only answer to YOU! * I feel my fees are very reasonable and I will give you all the paper work with the proper codes so you can file with your insurance company, should you choose to. * I will also provide you with whatever samples I have so as to keep your cost to a minimum. * MOST importantly, we can spend more than "5.7 minutes" and get to know one another and I can give you the BEST possible care I know how. WAITING TIME? * Remember the days of waiting for 1hr to 3hrs in the doctor's office? WELL NOT HERE! * Your wait here depends on how fast you can fill your 2 page paper work. THAT'S IT! Then you spend time with me...YOUR DOCTOR. * SO from the time you sign in and the time you leave my clinic it will be approximately 30min. We can spend more or less time if you like.	PHYSICALS ▪NO physicals will be performed on the first visit. ▪Please be fasting for the physical as I might have to perform labs. ▪Physicals take a little longer so please budget your time.
APPOINTMENTS * Appointments are preferred. But we do accept walk ins and they will be worked in. Again, preference will be given to scheduled patients. * If you are 15minutes late you MAY be asked to reschedule. Please respect other patients time. * Please give us a 24hr notice if you are going to cancel an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a fee of $25.00.	LABS ▪ Virtually all labs are drawn here and few are perfomed in the clinic. ▪ Please be fasting at 9-10 hrs prior to having you blood drawn. ▪ YES, I REVIEW ALL LABS! ▪ That way I am aware of your heatlh status at all times. ▪ Virtually all NORMAL labs will be reported by Melody, my MA. ▪ IF there are ABNORMAL labs THEN I WILL BE CALLING YOU. YES ME! ▪ WHY DO I CALL? Because your health is very important to me.
EMERGENCIES * From time to time emergencies do arise. * If you need to be seen the same day, then call the clinic at the time of opening and I will work you in. I GUARANTEE that you will be seen that day. * YES EVEN IF I HAVE TO STAY LATE! * If you need to get a hold of me after hours, YOU can for emergencies ONLY. * I AM ALWAYS ON CALL - YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO ME! * If you have a life threatening emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.	HOSPITAL ▪ With the busy schedule, it is impossible for me to give you quality care and still have time for the hospital. ▪ I don't feel that it is fair to you. ▪ When I am in the clinic I want to be focused on you and ONLY YOU. ▪ If the time comes and you need to be admitted then I prefer you be admitted under a hospitalist. ▪ A hospitalist only spend his time in the hospital and takes care of patients there. ▪ If I had to be hospitalized that is the way I would want it. ▪ However, if you are having a major procedure and would like me to visit THEN I WILL GLADLY BE THERE.
